Originally part of a winery estate, the Tuscan stone buildings have been sympathetically restored into cottages and apartments with their own outdoor space. The pool is exclusive to the cottages and apartments at the resort. There is a delightful family restaurant with small bar/grocery/wine shop within the village, where you can dine al fresco to enjoy seasonal Tuscan food.
While enjoying your new Chianti lifestyle, you might plan day trips to the cultural delights of Siena and Florence, or stay closer to home to enjoy the local Chianti towns of Radda and Gaiole. San Sano is found on 'the road of castles' and 10km from the Chianti's most famous castle; Castello di Brolio, a family owned winery open for tours, wine tastings and a first class restaurant.
