Honestly this spot was so unique, I was blown away. I took pictures and sent it to my husband and friends inside and out. Very modern apartment with some rustic touches. The set up was awesome, bed was great, full kitchen, the shower even had shampoo/soap dispensers in it. It was perfect for 1 person. I can't even begin to describe the setting. It was like a bunch of apartments but like they were in older homes all cut up and there was a huge courtyard, lots of decking with chairs and a stage...which I found out Saturday night that locals use for gatherings and a concert. There was an actual concert and people barbequing in front of my from porch Saturday night. It was a bit shocking at first, but ended up a pretty cool experience. The only thing I would say at all that was a downside was that there is literally nothing but a door between you and the apt next door and you could hear everything. Not just muffled but clearly. So not a private spot if you're a couple. ;) Oh and bring a hairdryer. But man this place is something I would love to come back to when I'm working in Gainesville. I walked to Amelia's downtown at night, lots of parking in the lot across. It looks exactly like the pictures. Modern but rustic modern. Very cool.
