"When I arrived, I loved how organized the front desk was so it was quick and easy to check in. We stayed only one night, but it was quiet, relaxing after a long car ride. I enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean and professional and then I also enjoyed the waffles the next morning. Definitely gotta check into the waffle batter all in all. We’ll be back for another trip. "We really enjoyed our stay at Michael's house. It was large, spacious, clean & had everything we needed. Its a good location, close to the 5 Black River waterfalls in the Ottawa National forest and the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park plus much more. Lots to see and do in the area. "

"Our stay was longer than average... 1 month.. while we transitioned to out permanent home. We Loved this place. Joe was attentive and always cking on us. The home is close to the walking path and atv trails. The neighbors are friendly. Highly recommend for next getaway in the U.P. "

"Overall stay was nice and conveniently located super close to swimming in Lake Superior and a lot of hiking trails. Only suggestion for improvement I had was maybe making it super clear in listing that this is a split unit with an upstairs unit and downstairs. So if looking for something more secluded then maybe look elsewhere. But the other side to that is this being the perfect place for 2 families/friend groups to book at the same time as there is a staircase that conveniently leads to both units."
