"Beautiful and quaint. Restaurant had great food. The basement was very cool. Fireplace, pool table, and pictures of prohibition . Bring your drink down and relax. Definitely book a night or 2 you won’t be disappointed."

"This is an excellent place to stay while in the Amherst/Hadley area. Convenient location, a friendly and welcoming team of staff, a complimentary breakfast (with some healthy options available) served every morning, a swimming pool, and plenty of space, both in the guest rooms as well as in the common areas of the lobby. "There are two sections to the property. We asked to switch rooms because it smelled moldy on the one side. The other was in much better conditions, no smell, rooms very large, and clean. The pool is run by another company and they are strict about pool hours. "

"There is something special about the Nutmeg. You feel like you're at home but also have the amenities of a guest house or hotel. The staff is incredibly kind, and the fact that you can do an early breakfast pickup was convenient. Definitely would stay again if I'm in the area."
