"the place is restored 1931 house. a lot of care went into getting it fixed to the original "Japanese era" style. It's pretty much the same as the pictures. However, at the check in, we ran into a major snags. The listing shows 2 rooms/2 baths, but the proprietor only gave me ONE room of the 2 room listing, because he assumed all 4 of us could fit into a tiny room. That wasn't acceptable to us. We argued, and since the other room wasn't "rented" out, he gave in, and offered us access to...

"Staff (reception, concierge, housekeeping) were very pleasant, attentive and professional. Breathtaking views from the room and gym. Super impressed with the well-equipped gym. Only qualm is that the toilets for gym needs to be accessed via key/ sensor. Have to keep going to the gym staff for the access key. Otherwise, quite the perfect stay. "
