Nice modern hotel with really good staff. Management was very helpful. Mr. Saito had many good suggestions. The breakfast was a good call, lots of options. The hotel has its own bus that will take you anywhere around town and the resorts. It’s walkable to stores and restaurants
Very nicely appointed hotel, including the restaurant and spa. Breakfast buffet was a bit on the spendy side, but very good, with great coffee. The walkable dining options were underwhelming, but a great little restaurant (seats about 12-15 right across the street was a delight. Easy walk to Furano base.
Nozo Hotel is a quick walk to Furano’s Kitanomine Go ndola. It has an amazing japanese bath and super friendly english speaking staff. The hotel is very modern and clean. The downside the rooms are on the smaller side. I’m planning to stay here on my next visit to Furano.
New and very clean. Staff speaks English. The food was excellent. Dinner and breakfast although not too many choices if you were going to stay longer than a couple of days.
A recent build so still fresh & new. Excellent food, staff are friendly, most with English language. Rooms were nice and well cleaned. The larger rooms were more comfortable for large Aussies like me.
The suite I stayed in was very spacious, enough for a family. The dinner served was very authentic, and there were many choices for breakfast. I hope they keep the rooms clean. I will stay here again next year.
It was amazing. Room was big enough to store 2 luggages. Toilet clean and smell good. Only thing is the parking: first come first serve basis. If you’re late, you might not be able to get a parking and had to park further up which imo its far.
Modern, clean and cozy. The bar area is hang out for a drink apres ski, but was also a great place to do work. I would stay again for sure, but I would bring my own pillow. I prefer soft bedding and this mattress and pillow were not soft! The breakfast was good!
Overall the hotel is great! It just opened in December 2023, so it is all new. The restaurant is pretty good, too. Especially if you like sushi. The rooms are small, but well appointed. About the only negative thing is that the Parking lot closest to the hotel was quickly filled, and the marking for the next parking lot was not adequate, and tight.
Very new, cozy and modern setting that gives a good blend of modern deco and natural elements. The room size is acceptable. Bedding is comfy and shower / water power / bath products & amenities are good. Public bath is so new with nice indoor pool and sauna. Enjoyed so much the clean and quiet ambience especially the outdoor pool in garden setting.
Night shift staff at concierge good in English and very helpful.
The hotel caters to international guests; English was widely spoken (otherwise Google translate helps get the rest of the way). Nice facilities, clean room with an efficient use of space. Very close to the ski hill and ski lockers on the main floor. Considering the level of activity in the hotel, our room felt very quiet. Only suggestion is that the bathroom needs additional storage - extra shelves or hooks would be very helpful.
The property itself is a 2-4 min walk to the gondola. It’s a great location. The hotel is newly remodeled and very comfortable. Traditional Japanese sized rooms.
The thing that really shines here though are the staff. 5 stars is not enough. We should be allowed one review a year where we can give 10 stars. Everyone here is superlative (great ). Without going into details, the staff all came together to help me out way above and beyond normal service. And don’t get me wrong, the normal routine service was beyond perfect
As an added ease of life point.. the staff speaks great english.
I hate to share this review because I’m unable to give this new hotel any score lower than 5/5! Sooner or later people will find out how good it is and when I come back to Furano next year it will be all be booked up!! The amenities are easily 4 star hotel level and up. Good onsen with great shower, indoor and outdoor areas. Seriously you don’t even need to use the shower in your room, and one should just come to the onsen everyday. Great and easy to access ski locker room with boot dryers. Three minute walk to the gondola station. The breakfast option is insane as well - both Japanese and western items. They even serve icecream during breakfast - I mean even my son only gets that once a year on his birthday only but here you gotta do it everyday. English speaking staff are very helpful as well.
Location is good. It’s close to the kitanomine gondola.
I liked the interior design of the hotel. The staff are super friendly, great attitude, willing to help but some staff members are not experienced from a hotel operations perspective. This may be due to the hotel being very new still.
The breakfast has a really good selection and tastes great but it would be good if there were more fruit and vegetable choices. They should definitely use smaller containers for some of the food so they don’t look like leftovers.
The ski room humidity level is not low enough. It smells a bit and my gear didn’t dry overnight.
The public bath is very serene and sauna is amazing.
Amazing hotel: perfect location if visiting Furano ski resort, staff is friendly and super attentive, clean and great amenities. This will be my go to spot whenever in Furano.
