The front desk to check in and pick up your key is far away from your hotel, it’s located at another building which is about 800m from hakata station. We keep searching while carrying 2 big luggage bags and a baby stroller. Finally found the front desk at 2.30pm and ask if we could check in early if the room is ready as it is raining out there and we carrying so much things along. Receptionist then proceed to check in and pass us the room key. We moved to our room put down everything moment later there is a man who is not wearing hotel uniform claimed that he is the staff here and asks for 3000yen because we check in 2 hours early. I am shocked and confused why wouldn’t the receptionist tell us early but after we went in the room, I explained to the man but he don’t understand and insisted so I got no choice and pay him. Totally disappointed and feel like being cheated. You shouldn’t hand over the room key for us if you don’t want us to check in early and tell us, so we can wait in the lobby until check in time! Will visit Fukuoka again but definitely not staying this hotel anymore!

Check in office is 10 mins taxi drive away from the Hotel. Otherwise, the place is very comfy and in quiet neighborhood.The price is excellent. It's like staying in a Condo with all the amenities and a clothes Washer. Highly recommended for a small family..
