The varied nature with the alpine peaks Säuling and Tegelberg approx. 2000 m high, as well as the lakes, Forggensee, Allatsee, Weissensee, Hopfensee, Schwanensee, Alpsee, Bannwaldsee offer endless possibilities for your active and relaxing holiday. Take the cable car from Schwangau, 3 km away, up the Tegelberg to 1850 m and then walk to the summit.
Tegelberg is a centre for paragliders. In Schwangau there is a beautiful large thermal bath. One of the most beautiful churches in Bavaria "the Wieskiche" is 30 km away.
