Be prepared to bring your own beverages. There are no vending machines. The nearest store is 2 blocks away. I definitely didn't feel safe enough to get one.

Staff was friendly and professional.
The room itself was disappointing. The bathroom door was a sliding door and it would occasionally jam and sometimes you could squeeze your fingers if not careful. The water pressure in the shower was very low and it was difficult to get the water to a consistent temperature; it would sometimes oscillate between hot and cold very quickly.
The Alex speakeasy downstairs was also disappointing. Took a while for the staff to seat us even with a reservation, we were there for at least 50 mins without getting a drink so we decided to leave. The Jazz music was off putting; it felt like the band members were playing over one another rather than in some sort of harmony.

The hotel is a very nice hotel. There is a bar/restaurant which was great since we arrived pretty late and wanted to get something to eat. Our room was quiet and it was clean. The hotel doesn't clean your room every day, just every other day. On most days, our room was cleaned very well but there were a couple of days when the tea, small water bottles they provide wasn't replenished.
You couldn't have asked for a better location. It was near two different metro stops so getting around the city was VERY EASY. There were also plenty of options for food near by. On Sundays, Dupont Circle which is only a few blocks away has a farmer's market that was fun to check out.
