Arrived at 1:30 in the morning. There were homeless people milling about the parking lot, a pair of shoes were just abandoned in the middle of the stairs, AC didn’t work, bedspread was filthy and threadbare, there was mold in the bathroom, and there was trash on the counter. Left 20 minutes later. Expedia called on my behalf and asked for a refund, desk woman said to call in the morning. I called in the morning and spoke to a gentleman who said he’d send the refund. Didn’t receive it. Called Expedia several days later - they said the manager said they offered me another room and I left so they wouldn’t be giving me a refund. This is entirely false and I said as much. Called the manager, he hung up on me. Expedia gave me a refund anyway. Do not stay here. Property manager is dishonest and rude, other staff is also dishonest and unhelpful. Property is dirty and dangerous. Just a generally terrible place to stay.

So sad to leave a poor review, the motel looks lovely, the gardens are beautiful, the 1960's style cute albeit the units are a bit run down. The staff were nice, but it is not a place to take your family, we got zero sleep, felt unsafe, had to put up with coming and goings of noisy guest their late night visitors and numerous dogs within units. We had to give up and put the kids in the car in the early hours.

The rooms have no air conditioner the room was extremely hot. There is no cups. There is a coffee maker in the room with no coffee cups. It's 11 pm and I can't sleep due to how hot it is in the room.

The biggest issue is the interconnecting doors between rooms. They may as well be made of paper. Nextdoor was smoking, which made our room stink of cigarettes. We could hear them clearly. Overall this ruined the stay. You can add on the noise at 7am from the grass adjoining the property being cut and the use of very loud blowers to move the cut grass. Probably nothing to do with the property or within their control. But very inconsiderate of whoever it was. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfortable.

I have problems with my knees so I asked for a room On the first floor but they did not give me one. I did not get out of my room until I absolutely needed it. It was a bad experience for me.

Parking was hampered by construction? A lot of dirt or in my case, mud as it was raining. Check in took way too long as manager was training front desk help. I requested ground floor room through Expedia, they say they don’t get on-line requests.

I saw the price of $76 per night, I was charged $99. Then the night shift person tried arguing with me. I dropped it and got my key. Then the morning shift person couldn't give my deposit back until manager arrived but got my full deposit back

Will never stay there again the cool stop working in the middle of the night and the people stayin in the room next to us were really loud and fighting all night. The place looked really nice but wait tell dark. Thats all i well say the dope heads come out.

Do not waste your money! Looks pretty from outside. The garden and pool looks appealing. The website says there is a restaurant. The restaurant is boarded up. The grounds are pretty. Sketchy people surrounding the area. Staff was nice. Get to our room & it’s a single queen when we booked 2 queens. Go back to the office&tell them. They scramble trying to figure something out because they had just told us earlier in the day that they were fully booked. We get put in another room upstairs. The whole outdoor area smelled like cat urine&mildew. Get into the room&it reeks of mildew&smoke (non smoking room). The carpet was filthy. There was crumbs in the drawers&dust everywhere. There was gum stuck on my headboard. We try opening the sliding door&it’s screwed shut& no window except for in bathroom. There’s no screen in it. No way to air out the room. We literally sat with the door open for an hour trying to air it out. It was so bad it gave me a headache. The bed was super hard&has tiny pillows.candy under bed. To top it off, the room was hot&stuffy. There is no controllable air flow. There is a light switch on the wall that says A/C & heat. We turned it on and the AC came on. We went to bed and woke up in the middle of the night, dying from heat. They turned the HEAT on up at the front office. It is miserable and there is no way to change the temperature or let fresh air into the room without leaving your door open. We drove down from 4 hours away. We left early.

The room was dirty, carpet filthy bed very uncomfortable. The 2 beds in the room both had bugs. Asked to move to another room. Killed 5 cockroaches in the new room. The neighbor in the next room started to smoke pot. The smell gave me a headache. Checked in at 7PM left at 1AM to go to another hotel. The manager will not refund me back my room fee. Don't make a mistake like I did and stay there.

They stole my deposit over towels being dirty from cleaning up constant leaking shower. The room service stole money off my dresser and after I addressed it they said they are keeping my $100 deposit. Not to mention they are infested with roaches. We failed to read the review and already prepaid for an entire week. Please don’t make the same mistake we did!!! Read the reviews!!!!

Our room reeked with cigarette smell and made my family have to vacate the room that same night. Was unable to get a refund. Please please do not stay here if you want a nice experience. Upon checking into my room, my room is actually a catch off for old furniture, and as soon as I walk through the door, a cobweb went across my face. How can a hotel send a gas to a room that hasn’t been attended to in weeks and was storing other furniture. The staff was clueless and shocked so I immediately requested a refund and they told me they couldn’t refund me that I had to go through Expedia which I did. The Expedia team member was very helpful and promising me that I would get fully refunded for my troubles. I usually don’t give bad reviews, but this whole situation was disgusting.

While the Lamp Liter is quite “vintage” it’s nice and clean. The staff is delightful. Check in was seamless. I had a lower floor room with a parking access door and a second door to the courtyard. There is a nice pool, I was there in January so didn’t swim. The courtyard is home to some stray cats….. and they make insane noises at night! While I was quite alarmed at first I found it kinda humorous.
