## Emplacement
Fréjus is a seaside and tourist resort of the Côte d'Azur. It has also been classified as a City of Art and History. It was originally a Roman city founded in 49 BC to oppose the city of Marseille, which then dominated the region. Fréjus is the site with the largest concentration of antique remains in France after Arles. There is also the Base Nature François Léotard (outdoor sports complex with many events in the summer).
