「It remind us of our grandparents home. Out with nature and open fresh clean air. Very clean and relaxing place.」

「This was a good location for our needs but there are some functional issues with the house. It is pretty apparent the folks managing the place have not stayed there or tried to use the kitchen facility. The design aesthetic」

Renting both the "main house" and the Casita for my parents gave them plenty of privacy, which was wonderful. We adored petting and feeding Espresso, Latte, Lorenzo, and even Miss Cookie the cow! For the bird watchers among us, it was a thrill to watch a crested cara cara fly right over the house as we sat on the comfy couch on the patio! We enjoyed the hot tub...

「We had a great stay at the farmhouse! It was very comfortable and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The house was very well appointed including a fenced yard and tennis balls for the pups. My toddler really enjoyed the chickens and peacocks and walking around the pond. Everyone liked sitting on the back porch. Proximity to town was very convenient but felt miles away from the crowds downtown. Would recommend, especially for big groups.」

「Hirschbach Haus was everything we wanted for our friends and family bi-annual reunion. We found a cozy rustic farmhouse that has been lovingly up-dated without removing any of the original charm. Big king-size beds with wonderful linens. More towels in the bathrooms than we could use. Someone had fun with a labeling gun as almost everything was labeled. This made everything easy to find and operate. Tons of silverware, plates and glasses. There was even a Canadian coffee cup that was used daily...

We came to see the total solar eclipse in April – the location was 10 minutes from Fredericksburg, but off a country road so we avoided all the crowds and just relaxed. Everything was in order and working when we arrived. Our hostess arrived every afternoon with a basket of goodies for the next morning breakfast and the kitchen was stocked with other breakfast staples. We spent our days wandering down to the creek and exploring the property,...

「This place is very cute and fun, it was a little cold during our stay so not a lot of outside time. But we did visit the animals, each morning they were a lot of fun. The dogs so sweet. We enjoyed the house very cute and cozy, had everything we needed.」

Cons: never received instructions on check in, reading septic system, dog food kept under kitchen cabinet (we had no pets), dog/ cat hair on couch and bunk bed, difficult to put out Murphy bed and need more kitchen towels (only had 2) and toilet I. Master bath clogged and no plunger,」

「We were in town for a friends wedding. The property is close to conveniences but far enough away that you have a sense of peace. The home is super clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The A/C was awesome and a welcome relief from the heat. The ranch dogs were super friendly as well」

「We loved gathering with our family at this beautiful and quiet farmhouse. It is perfectly set up for a crowd with great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Lots of very thoughtful amenities! A bit outside of Fredricksburg, but we loved the trees, sunsets/sunrises, wildlife, nearness of many wineries and easy access to Albert Dancehall. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!」

「We did enjoy the house, location, and amenities. Bring your Kcups and enjoy coffee on the front porch. If you get caught in an evening rain, the gas fp offers a quick warm-up. All in all, very nice. Parking is on the street, but it’s a VERY wide street and quiet area. Only 1-1/2 blocks from the main downtown area. I knocked one star, because I think the toilet area of primary bath was missed in cleaning. A lot of long hair and dust in that area - not the case with the rest of the house....
