"Bon accueil, belle maison avec l'essentiel pour y passer un weekend en famille (10). Il y a deux petites salles de bain au rez-de-chaussée. L'idéal serait d'avoir 1 WC à l'étage mais bon, on s'organise. Canapé lit pas hyper confortable pour dormir mais les autres lits sont appréciés ! Beau parc pour déjeuner en extérieur avec terrasse. "The villa was exactly as described, there was amble room for everyone. The villa was very comfortable. The surrounding area was very quiet with a cycle/walking path a few minutes away. It was only a 5 min drive into Parthenary town and the same distance for a supermarket. We did have an issue with the drainage, but I sent a text and a telephone call from the owner had a plumber sent out the next day who resolved the problem. Thank you Google translator. We had a lovely break, but it was a shame...

"This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. It’s about an hour to La Rochelle and in east reach of many delightful villages. Highly recommended"

"Lovely place. Loads of space for us 4 families to spread out across the 2 separate houses. (Handy to put the teens in the end one on their own). Weather was very hot so we really appreciated the pool, the shade of the walnut tree and the Bluetooth speakers. A couple of extra parasols would have been great, but we managed fine. "The property internally was very good but needs some finishing off. Property full of flies. VRBO advertised property inclusive of use of pool and hot tub. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

Ok but poor access to restaurants for the evening
"We booked 2 rooms but the automated system only gave us 1 at check in so we had to see the lady at reception after 5pm to get the second one. It is a Poor and confusing digital system. Also the location of the hotel is not helpful for access to restaurants in the evening. ( your own food offering was limited) We had a long walk round a busy unsafe road, or had to drive into the city."
