Amenities were ideal with breakfast food items included plus a bottle of Prosecco and shortbread as a thoughtful Christmas gift. The property had been decorated for Christmas - another kind and thoughtful touch. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. "We had a mostly pleasant stay at this suburban Marriott location. Parking was plentiful and secure compared with hotels closer to Leicester’s city center. The room was a good size and quiet even on a busy weekend. We also made use of the well-equipped gym, which was the main amenity at the hotel. Our only complaint was the lack of flexibility around breakfast. We were told we could not cancel it because we had booked a prepaid rate. This felt unnecessarily rigid and put a slight damper on an otherwise positive stay. Since we had already paid, we did try the breakfast despite having very little time. It was well presented with a good variety of options for different preferences and dietary requirements. Overall, this was the best-equipped and most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our UK travels. Despite the minor frustration with breakfast, we would happily stay here again and would recommend it, particularly for travelers with a car."
