"Horrible stay away"

"We had a delightful stay at the City Mills Hotel. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is on the Chatahochee River and because if the river walk, and easy walk to Uptown Columbus. The room was clean, breakfast delicious and the history very interesting. "

"The staff was super nice, but the bathroom in our room was very dirty. We also booked a room with two queen beds and were given a room with one king bed and a couch. My husband went down to get a blanket for my son who was sleeping on the couch and they told us they would bring one up, but never did. "

"The host was very communicative, explained details for check in exactly when they said they would, and very easy to follow, and checked in after the first night to make sure all was well. The cottage was absolutely adorable, very inviting. There are are a few cosmetic details that I would address, like fixing the tile flooring, few holes in the walls, etc, however that did not affect my stay. I slept like a rock 3/4 nights, only night I had a hard time sleeping was a very WINDY night - the adorable decoration on the front door banged again the door, and branches from the woods directly behind the cottages were hitting the steel roof, making it sound like appliances were being thrown around. But that's a me problem, I've never experienced a steel roof and I'm a giant, anxious baby! Aside from being scared of nothing, great stay. Quiet neighborhood, even for being in the middle of Columbus. Cottage well stocked too with cookware, silverware, and COFFEE!!"

"The home did not reflect the condition shown in the listing photos. There were several cleanliness and maintenance concerns, including stains, a missing bed, and a broken window. We also experienced pest issues. We could not stay here. These issues impacted our overall experience. Hopefully the owner addresses these concerns for future guests."

"This is a fun quirky old house. We enjoyed our time there. One of the upper bedrooms may be haunted. My 18 year old son said he felt something sit on the bed every night (we were there for four nights)!The neighborhood is indeed quiet and delightful with easy access to the River Walk and tons of architectural eye candy."
