With new COVID-19 safety guidelines to adhere to, travel looks a bit different right now. These are some handy things to know before you pack your suitcase for Forøya:

• Know what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your destination and origin. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so don't forget to check before you lock something in.
• Requirements state you must wear a face mask at the airport, even at screening checkpoints. You should be prepared to lower your mask for ID purposes when asked by a TSA employee.

• To reduce handling during screening, put items such as your keys, wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on instead of into the bins.
• Separate any food you have for screening. Food items often set off the alarm. Placing them in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA officer to handle and inspect your belongings.

To limit contact between passengers and flight attendants for the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic, most reputable airlines have taken social distancing and other precautionary measures to the skies. An example of these are:
