"I cannot say enough about how nice the house was. The house itself was very nice but the deck and the view sent it to another level. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Was within a reasonable drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Added bonus was Just Barb’s, a diner 2 minutes away. Good food and very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone coming to the area. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer."

"We could not have asked for a better place or better hosts. We had two small children with us. The layout of the home and the grounds was a dream for supervision- very kid and adult friendly. The house was so cozy and elegant, well designed and thoughtfully furnished and appointed. The setting was magical with a lush carpet of thick grass to walk barefoot in, sloping gently down to a set of stairs leading to a quiet sandy beach. The gardens were brimming with fragrant blooms. The sunsets were spectacular over the water. We never wanted to leave. The kids referred to it as our new house. I highly recommend a stay here."

"We loved our stay! We were in the area for our daughter’s wedding at the Belvedere House and Gardens. This was a perfect home base as it is less than a mile from the venue so we could easily pop back and forth. It was clean, dog-friendly and had AC so the temperature was comfortable. The owners were very accommodating and had great communication. Thank you!"

"Your Boathouse is the Perfect Getaway! So Picturesque and Quaint! We fell in love with it as soon as we walked in. On our first evening here, there was a Beautiful Rainbow over the water. Seeing a rainbow Happiness which was absolutely perfect as on this Getaway we were Celebrating Our Wedding Anniversary. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the tide coming in and going out. There is something so Relaxing about the Sight and Sound of Water. We relaxed on the deck, talking and reading and just enjoying the Beautiful Sights all around us, along with enjoyed listening and watching the different birds. We also saw some Magnificent Sunrises. Thank you again for sharing your Boathouse. We Hated to Leave.Sincerely,Tom & Roxanne"

"A delightful stay. The whole house was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. The kitchen is nicely equipped and the beds very comfortable, and the grounds were very nicely maintained . Amanda was great about communication, and every aspect of the stay was great. We were visiting family, and wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again."

"We enjoyed our cozy stay in this sweet home on the Maine coast. We had everything we needed and the host and their team were very responsive, even coming over to salt the steep driveway before we departed in sleet and ice. We hope to be back again next year."
