"Old place but cozy. The air conditioner was moldy causing us major allergies. Only had 2 adult kayaks and one for a child. We would have to go the other location to use 3 adult kayaks. Breakfast is dry food and coffee and refrigerated drinks. Should be clear not a real breakfast. Love that there’s a portable stove too and full pots to cook and dining wear. Convenient location to get to the beach but not horribly expensive. "

"Great location and in our case a waterfront view. Room is ‘tight’ but we were seldom there. Many amenities on property including a short walk to live venues on two nights. A pleasant surprise considering we would normally prefer to be in the heart of the action. Pillows were unusually high and awkward for sleeping. A few missed replenishments with staff, but very clean. Would return. Good value overall."

I rode in for one night on my touring motorcycle and because we were expecting a tropical disturbance that night into the next day, Brianna opened a side door to a hallway so i could park the bike in to protect it. "This place was clean and the location on the island was good because walking distance to bars and boat ramp. Just know there is nobody from the hotel on site except when we checked in on Friday. We really didn't need anyone and I believe there was a contact phone number if we did. The place was clean and roomy. "Pool was great! House was very comfortable with everything we needed. The view of the lake was idyllic. We made good use of the water toys on the lake too! And rode the bikes around the neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked and comfortable to navigate with everything labeled. The owners were communicative, and we didn't want for anything!"

"We loved the fun coastal decorations, with the aqua and pink highlights with lots of cute seashell and nautical touches. The pool was great, with the screened in porch keeping away any bugs & debris. We enjoyed eating our meals on the table outside as well. A wonderful vacation spot."
