"Really good spot and about as close to St. Helens as you can get without camping. Nice restaurant on the property too. Clock light was very bright at night though."

"This was our second time staying at this property and this is my second time rating it as PERFECT! Pictures don't do it justice...it's very clean and comfortable and the sunset views are great. The overall vibe is exactly what you'd expect for a lake house. The fenced yard and deck are perfect for traveling with pets. Everything you could need for your stay is provided. Christie is an awesome host...communication is great and check-in is easy peasy!"

Riverfront Cabin-Hot Tub-Firepit-BBQ-Tilton River

Riverfront Cabin-Hot Tub-Firepit-BBQ-Tilton River

10/10 Excellent
"We had an absolute blast at this beautiful little cabin by the river!! Well, I shouldn’t say “little” because it’s way bigger than the pics would have you think! We had plenty of space to lounge and relax, a nice cozy dining area, and we had a blast grilling and lounging in the hot tub on the deck. The place was fully equipped with everything we really needed, making it super easy to settle into vacation mode! I spent a lot of time just marveling at the decor and all the handmade log/wood decor and furniture, it’s beautifully decorated and really gave that simple cabin vibe we were looking for. I could go on forever, but to summarize, we absolutely fell in love with this place and we’d recommend it to anyone!! We’ll certainly be back :)"

Cabins on the Toutle River , 646 South Toutle Rd.

10/10 Excellent
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unique destination and will definitely be back! The primary cabin is a true labor of love—Mark has done an awesome, inspired build using locally sourced materials, including beautiful live-edge siding. It’s quiet, rustic, and peaceful. The off-grid power system is easy to engage, though it requires a bit of awareness. Mark does a great job helping you understand the idiosyncrasies of the cabin: running the generator for about an hour charges the battery to 100%, which then gives you up to 8 hours of power. If you aren't comfortable rationing your power consumption, this might not be the place for you, but we absolutely loved the experience! The sleeping setup includes a loft bed accessed by a small stairwell. As a 5'10" 50-year-old woman, I had no problem getting in and out of the loft comfortably.Very pet friendly.Outside, we enjoyed easy access to the river, and the charcoal grill was simple to light and keep going for dinner. While it feels blissfully remote, a great local grocery store and gas station are right nearby, plus there are plenty of local activities to check out.Thank you, Mark, for sharing this special place with us!"

Lakefront Retreat. Saltwater Hot tube, dock, kayaks and fish gear included!

10/10 Excellent
"This house was absolutely great! There were plenty of activities to do within the 2 days we were there. We used the Kayaks, the Paddle boat, the fishing poles and the Grill. The home was very well cleaned and stocked with any supplies (towels, Kitchen utensils for cleaning/cooking etc). The one experience pet owners should know is that booking through VRBO, it does not allow you to specify how many pets you are bringing. The host does mention in the description the cost per dog, so be prepared to get a message and an additional request for payment if you arrive with more than 1 dog just as we did, I got the message minute's after arriving. Overall, we and our dogs enjoyed the property, we do plan on renting the house again in the future."
