Take the metro to Ford's Theater or just anywhere downtown. Driving and Parking are horrendous in downtown DC.
A terrific, sobering history lesson and amazing to see this restored as it was when we lost our greatest president. Items in historical exhibit are stunning, especially the tiny pistol that changed the world.
Closed but passed it
It closes much earlier than the places around it so we didn't get to go inside.
Do the tour that includes the performance. Good history and a chance to see a performance in the theater - worth it!
