Chose this hotel because we were attending a club volleyball tournament at Kutztown University. It was a 15-20 minute ride to campus; but very quiet, easy to navigate and overall a very kid-friendly location.

You get what you pay for. For one night, bed is comfortable and clean. bathroom clean with working shower. Next night on way back home had to change rooms due to shower not working. New room was ok.

I was up in the area for a family funeral. We really didn't have time to go visit and sites. I was busy getting together with family during this time. That was the most important and only reason i was there. Hawthorn staff was Great!
