Good hotel. It's located not far from the fortress which is the town center. The room was good size, clean and quiet. Parking in front of the hotel. The staff were a bit edgy, didn't let us in earlier even thought the room was ready as it turned out.

The receptionist at check in very courteous and efficient. Near most everything. The only problem I had is : NO NAMES ON THE STREET CORNER TO IDENTIFY IT.
How is one to know that is Regele Ferdinand Blvd when the english guide pronounces it waaaaay differently and there is no sign to mark it!?

Very pleasant stay, gorgeous property in a quiet part of the city. Great bus link to the airport and a quick walk into the city centre. The host Adrian was very friendly and gave expert advice on what to see and do in Cluj. I highly recommend Hotel Escala for business or pleasure!
