Just a superb hotel with a stunning lobby, comfortable, quiet rooms, great shower — and even better staff. It was evident from check-in on that they would do anything we needed to make our stay in Lisbon as comfortable and entertaining as possible. Their recommendations for dinners were flawless.

Property is gorgeous and I was drawn to it being part of the old castle. But it is up on the Alana hill and not all taxi or Uber drivers will take you all the way to hotel. Book airport shuttle service through the hotel if possible. There are also peacocks around the hotel that are very loud and act like a roaster waking you up early in the morning. Staff was great. Very attentive and helpful
