"We were there at a slow time, right after Labor Day. It was very quiet and we saw no one on our trail walks. Only a couple tables were occupied at diner, and we were the only ones at breakfast. The staff was great and I hope others wandered in to eat at the buffet because there was a lot of food prepared. The property is old, but clean and nice. There is interesting history. We would stay there again."

"The house is an older house with many upgrades. Very spacious for our gathering. We had 8 people with us and all had our own space to enjoy quiet time as well as space for all of us to get together and have fun. The host was very accommodating allowing us early entry. I would absolutely recommend this house as a place to stay."

"The staff were absolutely the nicest people ever. Property was clean and the coffee was delicious. Breakfast was great. We met some people in the lobby and spent a couple of hours enjoying company. It was an altogether wonderful experience."

"This was our second stay at this property. Just as with the first stay, very tidy, great atmosphere, the host was very friendly and accommodating, the sunsets were amazing,the stars at night were incredible, and the privacy was second to none. I highly recommend this property and host! Hoping to return for another stay in the future."

"Moon River is located downtown. There is a café on the corner that serves the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had. The owner was amazing and we had communal breakfast every day at 8:30. This gave us an opportunity to swap stories and adventures and plan our next day in Maysville. I would definitely stay again."

"Wonderful home to stay! Lovely home and great view. Missy was so helpful during our stay. When a storm went through during our stay and the area lost power, she brought over flashlights and candles. Thank you!"
