"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

There is no Wi-Fi, but there is 4G. My only issue, as that despite contacting the owner 3 times and 3 days 2 days and 24 hours before our arrival for the entry procedures, I had no contact until an extremely stressful 18 hours before arrival initiated by myself contacting VRBO for a 60 minute conversation...
