"Thornhill is in a lovely location, easy walking distance to dinner and a small market. Lovely area. Short drive to Stirling and Falkirk. Rooms were large and well appointed. A private bathroom for each of the bedrooms. It was a little tricky determining the wifi password, and which went with which area. Other than that, all was lovely. "

"We just had a great family vacation at Muir Estate! The house itself is modern with all the amenities of a 4/5 star hotel with the added bonus that the hosts will arrange the bedrooms and beds to suit your specific family needs. For kids and animal lovers seeing the deer and being able to feed them was an added bonus. Overall the home is the perfect blend of remote enough to feel like you are away from it all to being bang in the middle of Scotland a short drive from all the major cities/airports and on the doorstep of the highlands for sightseeing. "Centrally located in the village of Kippen views from lounge were superb. Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. Kippen is a great village has a Mini Supermarket and two pubs both serving good food. If you are visiting the Homeland as we were Kippen is a great location for motorway to Glasgow and Edinburgh and Fife. Our only criticism was the weather which Kippen or the cottage has no control over!"
