「Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!」

「Ute plassen, dårlig til å rydde bord og andre ting f.eks. begynte å regne ingen som tok inn tepper i regnværet. Kort stund etter kom sola ingen som kom å tørket av bordene. Savnet ei søppel kasse inne på ute området. Ellers veldig hyggelig sted, vi kommer gjerne igjen. Dette gjelder Egon sin uteplass som hotell gjestene brukte. God mat og god frokost.」

「We had great time . The view of fjord from the garden is amazing. Enough tables/chairs to enjoy view during breakfast. Our room had fully kitchen. Has washer/dryer. Although location is not walking distance from Geiranger port but the owner offers shuttles for a reasonable 150 NOK per person . The host Ian is very knowledgeable but can be awkward at times. He likes to talk about Geiranger which in a way is good for us tourists who are new to the area. I would suggest the owner to post better...
