「This place has the luxury of a boutique hotel with the ambiance of albanian hospitality. The rooms were beautiful, clean and unique, breakfast was delicious and fresh, but most of all the team & staff were lovely. We brought this to the staff’s attention, to which they did not discount our room, nor did they accommodate us by providing another room, free of charge. 「The hotel is in an well-preserved old building. Location was quite near of the touristic center. The room was much smaller than the 30 sqm that the web page (Expedia) informed. Bulky furniture at both sides of the bed made a difficult access. Bathroom was tiny ( standing in the middle and streching your arms you can touch opposite walls). Some things as the toilet lid were broken. The room faced a beautiful courtyard, that was also a restaurant with live music until 11 pm.」

「We had a wonderful stay at El Greco. Our room was clean, comfortable bed, nice modern bathroom with an excellent shower. The location was perfect, near shops and restaurants. El Greco has an excellent restaurant, Eat Greek, with a new bar with a lovely terrace. Above all, I cannot say enough about the incredible owners and staff. They were so accommodating to us and our two small dogs. We highly recommend and will absolutely return.」

The staff was very helpful and they let us park our van and store our luggage at the hotel while we are away on the Theth-Valbone 3-day trek.」

Their parking is underground beneath the hotel and may be too tight for a larger vehicle, though it worked fine for us. A great value for a good stay in Shkoder.」

「The Expedia listing for the hotel showed a Spa and Pool. On arrival at hotel however the entire Ground Floor, Spa and Pool were torn apart for renovations. Access to the rooms was through a small side door, not well marked. If I had know amenities were closed I would have booked a different hotel. Should have gotten a discount for the room considering.」

There seems to be a little bit of confusion when it comes to Expedia collecting the money. The staff sorted it quickly for me though.」
