Third stay, this is a really great hotel, polite and helpful staff. Great location for our stay.

The Venart is a special place among many special places in Venice. An old Palace directly on the Grand Canal in the San Polo neighborhood -- the quiet side of Venice. The concierge team is outstanding and the public spaces of the hotel are grand. Given the 2-start GLAM restaurant size limitations, food options at the hotel are quite limited. This can be a problem if you don't feel like heading out for dinner -- or even breakfast. Otherwise, it's a lovely place.

Beautiful hotel - great location!

A beautiful hotel with old world charms. The room is spacious and elegantly furnished. The room has a small window but it gives a gorgeous rooftop view of the neighborhood. Walking into the hotel you immediately recognize it's a historic site. The staff at front desk is very friendly and helpful. You can have them book dinner or water taxi reservations. The walk from closest water shuttle stop takes about 12-15 mins. But with the gravel pavement and several bridges to cross, it's more than just the time especially if you carry luggage. But if you take water taxi, the hotel has its own dock, which brings you right into the lobby.

Great hotel in a great location just outside the main hustle of the tourist spots. Breakfast more than enough to set you up for the day and couldn’t ask for me. Great service.
