LE ROCCHE - Under the Castle, ZAFFIRO Apartment with SPA and Black River view

The house is located in a strategic position in the centre of Italy precisely on the fortresses of Ferentillo, an enchanting village in the green heart of the Valnerina at a short distance from the famous and enchanted Marmore Falls, the rafting centre of the area and many other attractions.

The flat sleeps 2/9 people, is on two floors and has on the ground floor a comfortable kitchen with dining table, a bathroom with shower and a large living room with two double sofa beds and a wood-burning stove.
Going up the wooden stairs you reach the upper floor and a cosy living room with sofa bed, a comfortable double bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub complete the 80mq of this jewel of our beloved Residence.
Both floors are equipped with hot/cold air conditioning.

Leaving the flat you can enjoy a large terrace half covered by a porch where a small table and comfortable armchairs invite you to enjoy the view in total relaxation.

The direct access to the common area gives the possibility to benefit from the surrounding beauties at 360° with all the comforts to fully enjoy the garden while enjoying the view of the magical valley.

In the common area are made available to our guests: a large barbecue fireplace that allows you to prepare large roasts and gas cookers that allow you to cook outdoors and enjoy unforgettable moments in good company; overlooking a natural balcony with a breathtaking view, wrapped in extraordinary peace in total privacy.

To further satisfy your senses there is a relaxation area consisting of: a swimming pool (from 15/05 to 15/10, on request you can anticipate the opening or delay the closing) with sunbeds, dressing room with hot/cold water, WC and an infrared sauna.

Due to the challenges presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are offering additional resources and support to our customers.
We have reinvented ourselves and made such changes that each flat enjoys its own private area in the common area, guaranteeing us the possibility of protecting our guests while respecting social distancing.

Every detail has been thought and realized with love and having the possibility to give you emotions and unforgettable memories are the most beautiful gift for us!

The Residence, thanks to the GPS coordinates, will be easy to reach but much more difficult to leave if not with the intention of returning.

Friends are close and the host is closer

Beautiful town, beautiful view. Paolo is a fantastic guy, which is good, cuz you'll see a lot of him. Check in was daunting at first, trying to decipher broken English as you're run through the gamut of every possible electrical, gas, lock, fuse, valve, switch and power outage process that your or any of the other units might happen to encounter... a quick review of the "multi trash can/ multi recycle/ glass/ plastic/ holy goodness can i just throw this trash away already" process, and all was fine. It only took a few hours for the fridge to cool down after we plugged it in. We were very fortunate to share the same patio space with him. As a whole, we were very grateful he was always there to make sure we did things correctly, a huge help. As for the other odds and ends: apparently the extra fees for having "extra guests" (but still less than the total allowed) covered the extra roll of toilet paper we got. It's my fault for not reading further on the vrbo terms and conditions page... silly me stopped reading after it said: "all amenities are free"... if I had it to do over, I would have continued to the next sentence where it then proceeded to list all the amenities that weren't, in fact, free. I bet the common area was very nice. And it's very generous of the host to always be there at a moments notice; incase you forget your mandatory shower cap for the swimming pool, or correct trash bag, etc. All in all the memories were fantastic. Tolle Zeit in Ferentillo

Wir haben im Juli 2023 10 wundervolle Tage in der Wohnung Zaffiro verbracht. Wir wurden vom Vermieter Paolo im Dorf abgeholt. Er hat uns eine sehr umfangreiche Einführung und Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Toller Parkettfußboden, Schlafzimmer, Durchgangszimmer mit Schlafsofa, Wohnzimmer mit zwei Schlafsofas, Küche mit allem was man benötigt. In der Wohnung sind insgesamt drei Klimaanlagen angebracht, das hat uns in diesem heißen Sommer gerettet. Unsere Tochter hat viel Zeit in dem schönen Pool verbracht. Morgens und abends haben wir meistens auf der schönen Terrasse gesessen. Von hier hat man einen tollen Blick über das Tal und umliegende Berge. Ferentillo ist ein kleines nettes Dorf, hat aber außer dem Mumienmuseum kaum touristische Höhepunkte. In der Umgebung sind allerdings viele schöne Städte und Ausflugsziele. Ich, als Naturfotograf, habe am Lago Lungo viele Arten fotografieren können: Eisvögel, Zwergdommeln, Nachtreiher, Seidenreiher, Bienenfresser, Kuhreiher, Flussuferläufer, Purpurreiher und Zwergscharben. Besonders war, wie hilfsbereit sich Paolo und Catia um uns und ihre anderen Gäste gekümmert haben. Sie haben im gemeinsamen Essbereich ein BBQ mit allen Gästen und Freunden veranstaltet. Catia hat tolle Pasta gemacht, gegrillt wurde von allen mitgebrachtes Grillgut. Es war ein toller Abend mit netten Gästen. Wir bedanken uns für die tolle Zeit.

FW mit TOP-Aussicht auf Ferentillo und Berge

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubszeit in der FW "Zaffiro" mit grosser Terrasse, unterhalb der Ruinenburg. Familie 4 Personen und kleiner Hund. An die 85 Treppen hoch zur FW vom Parkplatz aus hatten wir uns schnell gewöhnt. Die Aussicht ist wirklich bezaubernd. FW hatte 3 Klimaanlagen, 2 Bäder-WC-Waschbecken (oben mit Wanne, unten mit Dusche. Top sauber. Küche mit Essbereich bis zu 6P., alles vorhanden gewesen. Oben 2 Schlafbereiche , getrennt voneinander. 1 Doppelbett (im SZ mit Tür) u. 1 aufklappbare Couch (2 P.)-ist Durchgangsbereich, offener Bereich. Zugang zum Bad und zum SZ hinter und Treppe aus EG. Wir Eltern schliefen unten im WZ, aufklappbares Sofa, schläft sich gut drauf. WZ und Küche unten sind mit einem grossen Vorhang getrennt. Die Türen und Holzdielen sind allerdings sehr geräuschlaut und bei kleinster Benutzung zu hören. Egal ob oben oder unten. Man gewöhnt sich aber dran. :) Alles in allem eine schöne, geräumige Unterkunft. Privatpool gibt es nicht, aber einen grossen Gemeinschaftspool für alle FW (glaube 3-4, längere Haare sollten unter eine Badekappe getragen werden) mit SUPER SCHÖNER Berg-Kulisse, eine grosse Terasse für Alle, Gemeinschaftswaschmaschine und Gemeinschaftsgrill. Pablo kümmert sich um alles, seine Unterkunft lag direkt neben unsere. Er ist das Herz der ganzen Anlage, hält alles in Ordnung, gibt Tipps, repariert und kommt auch zum Gespräch vorbei. Ganz lieb. Wir hatten aber auch einen kleinen Privatgrill bei uns auf der Terasse. Der Treppenlauf nach oben zum Pool ect. direkt offen an unserer Terasse lang war für alle nutzbar, da mussten wir uns erst dran gewöhnen. Aber es kam nur selten jemand lang, meist wurde ein anderer Weg gewählt. Empfehlenswert: Rom-125km, MumienMuseum Ferentillo, Wasserfall Marmore, Lago Trasimeno-Sonnenuntergang!, Assisi, Meer - ca 150km, Adventurepark, ect. 5min Auto runter von FW grosse EKShop, gibt es fast alles. Wir empfehlen es gern weiter, es war unbeschreiblich schön und die Umgebung ist einfach unbezahlbar und faszinierend. Auto ist allerdings von Vorteil.

Phantastisches Panorama

Die Anreise wurde uns sehr leicht gemacht, da wir von einem sehr einfach zu findenden Treffpunkt abgeholt wurden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung ist handwerklich sehr gut renoviert und lässt sich durch die Fensterläden auch ohne Nutzung der Klimaanlage gut temperieren. Die Aussicht von der Gemeinschaftsterrasse ist großartig. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Luogo fiabesco

La casa è veramente bella, pulita, con tutto il necessario per stare divinamente. Le zone in comune con altri ospiti, come il bellissimo terrazzo, dove chi vuole può cucinare all'aperto o sul barbecue è veramente grande e gode del panorama stratosferico che abbiamo avuto anche dalla nostra terrazza, veramente una meraviglia! La posizione stupenda perchè si raggiungono in pochi minuti bellissimi paesini da visitare, la cascata delle marmore che si trova proprio a due passi e facendo una cinquantina di chilometri si può visitare Norcia e visto che ci siamo Castelluccio di Norcia per apprezzare la famosa fioritura che richiama tanti turisti tutti gli anni. Per ultimo i padroni di casa, persone squisite che non si risparmiano in consigli e accoglienza! Grazie Paolo e Catia, siamo stati da Dio!

Beauté et calme

La situation en hauteur lui confère une très belle vue. Autant l’appartement que les autres parties communes de la maison sont d’une propreté exceptionnelle. Tout est très bien aménagé et joli. Le propriétaire disponible, sympas et plein de bon conseils pour les visites dans la .région . Nous y reviendrons certainement.

Siamo un gruppo di amici di 8 persone e abbiamo soggiornato in questo splendido appartamento per due notti a capodanno. Non ci saremmo mai immaginati di trovare tutto così curato in ogni minimo dettaglio, un posto fornito di ogni comfort sia all'interno che all'esterno e con una vista mozzafiato. Un posto così tranquillo da poterci rilassare e divertire allo stesso tempo. Cosa fondamentale la gentilezza e la disponibilità del Signor Paolo che ci ha potuto aiutare in ogni nostro dubbio e indirizzarci per visitare luoghi vicini.

Bellissimo soggiorno in Valnerina

"Insieme a mio marito e ai miei 3 bambini ho trascorso una settimana stupenda in questo bellissimo residence. La casa, molto accogliente ed arredata con gusto, e'' dotata di ogni comfort e tutti gli arredi sono nuovissimi. L''attrezzatura in cucina e'', oltre che completa, di ottima qualita''. Anche i bagni, sia quello con la doccia che quello con la vasca, sono nuovi e funzionali. Gli spazi esterni sono molto belli, oltre che per il paesaggio mozzafiato sulla Valnerina, anche per i colori e i profumi dei fiori che adornano ogni angolo. Insomma ci siamo stati benissimo, anche grazie alla cordialita'' e ai numerosi utili consigli del Sig. Paolo, persona squisita e sempre disponibile. Speriamo di poter tornare molto presto!"
