Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig im Hafenbereich von Mellerud und bietet von dort aus eine Vielzahl von Wandermöglichkeiten. "We had a great time during our stay there. There is a forest and a lake close by and you can relax in the house or on the balcony. The hosts a very nice and we found everything we needed. We can recommend the house 👍"

The separate single unit was very popular with the kids, and the lake view makes you want to stay forever! It was a short walk to the dock for a quick swim, and we enjoyed the activity center just up the road where you can kayak, hike, and zip line. "

"The facilities were good, clean and the staff was always very helpful. The only concern was on our first night stay when the fire alarm went off at 10:30pm and there was no one there to direct the guests on what to do or where to go. After half an hour someone finally came and turned the alarm off. There was no response from the fire department!"

"These are nice little cottages with some beautiful scenery. You check in at the hotel/restaurant, then drive up the hill to the cottages. They are nicely equipped with a kitchenette, so you can have a nice meal overlooking the lake. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful."

"Amal is a good location for exploring the lakes. There a couple of ok places to eat out, but not as many as I'd have liked. Definitely a base rather than a location. Hotel is in an older building and decorated sympathetically. Our room had plenty of space, but no tea or coffee making facilities."
