"We have been coming every year to la Vendée to visit my family. We have stayed in numerous gites over the years. This is by far the best place! The owners are lovely, great communication and we all appreciated the biscuits on our arrival. The gite is very well equipped, everything you can think of is there and more. "Unfortunately our stay at the priory did not meet our expectations. I had seen the house listed on another site and it sounded incredible. Sadly it feels like this house is at the end of its life. It is quite run down in places and parts of it are dirty and unsafe. Room fans covered in dust. Plug sockets unattached to walls.
