Unusual gîte in the rock with a view of the garrigue

Enjoy a mineral adventure in an unusual lodging, partly troglodyte, overlooking the garrigue. Lodging in an old farmhouse, on the promontory of the small village of Felluns. Ideal for a couple of lovers. Particular character of the architecture: the entire length of the wall in the background is made up of the rocks of the cliff on which this old house was built. You will have the entire accommodation. Large main room with kitchen, dining area and living room. A very design room with a king size bed and a large walk-in shower. Separate toilet in a trivial small adjoining cave. Entrance through a large bay window overlooking a terrace overlooking the landscape. South-east facing, you can enjoy the sun’s rays in the morning. Exceptional view on a landscape of wooded hills. Not overlooked. Private flowered courtyard entirely partitioned, allowing to let his pets evolve freely.
All comfort. WIFI. Baby equipment on request. Possibility to add extra beds. Pets welcome. Terrace with fence.

Between the Mediterranean Sea, Hautes Pyrénées and Pays Cathare.
Starting on foot from the cottage you can discover the vineyard, dolmens, a Roman aqueduct, the lake of Caramany, an orientation table, magnificent panoramas and swimming spots in the river (which will only be revealed to you at the cottage) Many hikes are possible all around Felluns and throughout the region. A few minutes by car from the cottage, you can practice canyoning, rafting, climbing and discover the many bathing areas of the surroundings (natural swimming pool, lake, river, gorges, swimming pool...)
Another of the unsung riches of this incredibly beautiful country is its wine: Côtes du Roussillon, Maury, Rivesaltes... The opportunity to taste these wines with strong personality.

La grotte ( le four )

Attention si vous séjournez dans le gîte « La grotte » ( plutôt le four ) attendez-vous à avoir du vis à vis au dessus ( terrasse plongeante) à droite et à gauche! Aucun pare vue , juste du grillage! Ce n’est pas un gîte mais une maison d’hôtes…Aucunes intimité et mal isolé. Soleil de 8 heures jusqu’à 15h30. Non traversant .Propriétaire qui habite la bâtisse… Un peu trop envahissante en ce qui me concerne. Je n’ai rien contre Fabienne , mais je ne viens pas en vacances pour aller boire l’apéritif ( Lundi ) avec des inconnus , autrement je serais parti au camping! En général , les vacanciers mettent des avis quand ils sont satisfaits et les autres sont tellement dégoûtés qu’ils ne mettent rien , donc forcément c’est toujours positif…. Pour résumer ce n’est pas mon style de vacances , mais pour d’autres certainement. Seul point positif c’est la vue imprenable sur les Pyrénées mais c’est très peu , pour une période de 15 jours…. Très joli gîte confortable. Vue de la terrasse magnifique la nature à perte de vue si comme moi on aime la nature et le calme se gîte est parfait. Au cœur d un petit village isolé, où les anciens aiment discuter avec les touristes . Nous avons passé un agréable séjour avec nos 2 toutous, malgré cette forte chaleur. Fabienne est totalement à l écoute et veille au confort de ses vacanciers à 2 et 4 pattes. Donc encore merci Fabienne pour Oskan et pour la clim 😜😜 Nous garderons un chouette souvenir de ces 15 jours.

Très agréable séjour dans ce gîte très bien décoré, aménagé et équipé. Nous avions choisi le gite parmi d'autres en raison de la vue et n'avons pas été déçus ! Comme c'est agréable (et zen) de prendre son petit déjeuner sur la terrasse de ce lieux très calme avec ce paysage à couper le souffle ! Fabienne est très sympathique et disponible pour donner tous les renseignements. Des classeurs reprenant les infos sur les activités et randos (et il y en a beaucoup) sont à disposition dans le gite. Si nous devions revenir dans la region, nous n'hésiterions pas à revenir là !

Un séjour magique dans l'arrière pays des Pyrénées Orientales

Ce gîte atypique est très confortable, spacieux et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Il est très bien équipé. Situé dans un petit village perché, c'est un nid d'aigle qui permet d'avoir accès à la garrigue, à une nature infinie. Sa situation permet d'avoir accès rapidement aux belles curiosités de cette région : châteaux cathares, villages pittoresques , vignobles, prieurés et abbayes.... Les buts de visites et promenades sont inépuisables !!! Par ailleurs, j'ai toujours rencontré des gens charmants. L'accueil de la propriétaire est aussi très convivial. Tout pour avoir un séjour réussi !!!

Merci à Fabienne pour son accueil si chaleureux et amical. Le logis "La Grotte" est très propre et très confortable. Le village est très calme, on entend simplement les oiseaux et les cigales, du vrai repos. Je recommande à 100 % !

Ruhige, gemütliche Ferienwohnung

War einfach super, auch wenn wir etwas Pech mit dem Wetter hatten. Fabienne ist total nett, hilfsbereit und es gibt einen netten Ordner voller Ausflugsmöglichkeiten vor Ort (falls man selber mal nicht weiß was man machen oder tun könnte). Die Umgebung lädt zum Wandern ein, auch aussichtsreiche Berge wie der Pech du Bugarach sind nicht weit entfernt. Und im Frühling blühen, vor allem ein paar Kilometer weiter nördlich, echt viele Orchideen. Auch die Kultur kommt nicht zu kurz: Carcasonne muss man zumindest von außen gesehen haben, Katharerburgen gibt es viele in der Umgebung (Quéribus, Peyrepertuse und noch mehr). Wir haben es genossen!
