At first it looked big enough but after a day we realised that it only had a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a kitchen leading out onto a yard that had table and chairs, washing machine and a shower area. We realised we had no windows, only the light coming in from the glass windows on the doors. Apart from that the fixtures and fittings were ok. "Our stay at La Roccia equaled our expectations! From the minute we walked in and met Arianna and Gabriella, we felt welcomed and were treated like family. The rooms are lovely, clean, and each one faces the beautiful waters that define Castro Marina. It was lovely being there just as the summer season is ending - there was plenty of room to enjoy the terraced patios with access to swimming and lazy afternoons in the sun. The restaurant is outstanding; we ate dinner there twice and enjoyed not only the outstanding array of menu items, but also the impeccable service of Lorenzo and Vanessa. We highly recommend La Roccia."

"Lovely hotel and spotless everywhere. No guest access to spa is disappointing and a reduced access price would have seemed sensible The spa is beautiful and one of the best I have ever used! Unfortunately closed every Thursday just when I wanted to have a massage. Strange day to close! Location is a little outside of the city to walk but I had a car. Gallipoli old town is great with lots of life in the evenings and great choice of restaurants"
