This beautiful vacation home, a semi-detached house surrounded by greenery, offers plenty of space for the whole family. Four-legged friends are welcome.
With a private barrel sauna and hot tub, the house offers a retreat from everyday life even during the cold months.
Right on the property, both two- and four-legged guests can cool their paws in the summer.
For winter enthusiasts, the region offers everything your heart desires. Plenty of snow and great winter sports opportunities right on your doorstep.
Easily accessible by both car and train.
A place where everyone feels at home.
This beautiful semi-detached house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the well-connected town of Feldberg-Falkau. Just 600 meters from the Altglashütten-Falkau train station, nothing stands in the way of traveling to or exploring the area by S-Bahn. During the summer months, you can also take a ride on the historic steam train there.
The house features a simple, appealing, and modern design. We combine soft, natural tones with wood and add anthracite-colored accents. The only other color accent used is the dark “Black Forest green.”
“Bringing the forest into the house”—this motto is also reflected in the lovingly designed children’s room. The 200-square-meter garden is enclosed by a 1.2-meter-high wooden fence and is, of course, available for your exclusive use. This ensures that you can relax outdoors during your vacation, even with our youngest guests or your four-legged friends.
Since January 2024, our guests have had access to a hot tub (seats 6) on the large terrace and a private barrel sauna (seats 4). This is how we create a temporary home with an absolute feel-good guarantee for all our warmly welcomed guests.
Winter often offers you a winter wonderland: plenty of snow, cold sunny days, and—since January 2024—we also offer wellness in the form of our own barrel sauna and a hot tub.
Use of the hot tub and sauna is free of charge.
Hiking trails start right at our doorstep—people of all ages can discover so much in the area. Winter offers winter sports enthusiasts a wealth of opportunities, while the forests and lakes are wonderful to explore on foot, by bike, stand-up paddleboard, or other modes of transportation during the other seasons.
Take the Dreiseenbahn to Titisee, Schluchsee, or Windgfällweiher. Culinary-wise, the town offers some great restaurants, which we’d be happy to recommend in our (digital) guest guide. Let the magic of the Feldberg sweep you away on an unforgettable vacation.
The local KONUS guest card provides free use of public transportation and discounts at many local attractions.
The visitor’s tax (€3.50/day/adult, €1.90/day/child aged 6 and older) is payable in addition. This must be paid on-site in cash or via a separate invoice.
Guest Access
Our guests can check in at any time using our key box. Three days before your arrival, you’ll receive a personalized access code for the key box. It’s located right by the front door, on the left-hand wall. Your keyring includes two house keys and a garage key for the garage inside the house (suitable for strollers and bicycles).
Additional Important Information
Sleeping Arrangements:
There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a 2-meter-wide double bed. Adjacent to it is the toddler’s room, which is equipped with a crib (with a side exit) measuring 0.70 x 1.40 meters.
The second bedroom on the floor above is furnished with a bunk bed. The top bunk is a standard single bed; the bottom bunk measures 1.40 x 2 m. Two people can sleep here together, though the sleeping area is correspondingly narrower than in the master bedroom.
Upon request, an additional mattress (0.90 x 2 m) can also be provided. For each additional guest beyond the third, the extra charge is €25 per person.
Bedding:
We leave it up to our guests whether they bring their own bedding or not. If we make up the beds with our high-quality Schlafgut bedding, we charge for it based on the number of guests. A sufficient supply of towels and bathrobes is available to all guests.
