"Well equipped beautiful cottage in the Loire countryside. Very Clean. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and have a vineyard 1/2 an hour away - worth the trip and the tasting. The house is close to Saumur which is lovely and has lots to see and do, including nice restaurants and is well located for visiting some famous historical sites like Chinon and Fontavraud Abbey. a very relaxing break."

"après avoir été accueillis très froidement par la gérante, qui nous a fait tout un discours sur l'écologie, nous avons passé une nuit très froide dans une yourte, d'ailleurs au niveau écologie laisser un radiateur à bain d'huile en marche toute la nuit, dans une yourte très mal isolée est ce écologique ??? "First off, the staff are exceptionally kind and friendly. They give you great ideas and offer solutions and tips (e.g. where to park for free and where to park to avoid thefts). It’s a happening area. Great restaurants attract people and it’s a hub for transportation so it’s always alive with activity but not the bad kind. We found it wonderful to get off the train and walk “home” in a few metres. Especially since our train was delayed due to an incident on the track. We walked from Hotel Suzane to the tourist office, got city passes, walked the blue line, saw great castles (by car) and went to the incredible David d’Angers museum. Got water and a few snacks at the nearby convenience store. Got great coffee at Hotel Suzanne’s cafe. Had amazing desserts and sandwiches at the Boulangerie downstairs (next door) and an evening meal at Bouillon. Great food. Great people. Our bathroom was small but the hotel was extremely generous with towels and it was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again. "
