"We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe."

"The view from the cabin was exceptional! The sunsets were amazing! My kids loved everything about staying there. The beach is close and enjoyable. It felt similar to camping, but with more conveniences. Our only complaints were that it was extra warm (there were air conditioning units to help, they just couldn't keep up) and the master bed was extremely squeaky. "

If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times.
