"We really enjoyed our staying. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and the beach was right across the street. The pool area was impeccably clean and a very nice relaxing area to stay in. Breakfast every morning was delightful and the ability to make your own Greek coffee in the sand was an exciting addition to the day. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

"The Aso hotel has been beautifully restored using its history as a raison storage in its design. Many antique items rescued from the building have been restored and displayed in the hotel. Only opened for about a month, the decor and attention to detail is amazing. The rooms are thoughtfully kitted out with lovely personal touches and gifts for the guests. "Incredible place to stay. The most beautifully restored small hotel that makes for a very special and unique experience. The owner, Efes, could not have been more friendly and hospitable. The nicest hotel breakfast we’ve had in ages. All of the Kalamata old town charm is right on the doorstep too. "

"1920 Classic is situated excellently in the centre of Kalamata! The place was beautiful, beds were comfy and it was well maintained with restaurants, markets and plenty of more things to see/explore. It was not too far from the boardwalk (30 min walk) . Although we only stayed for a night, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in the Kalamata area!"
