レンタカー移動でないとかなり不便です。 提携しているタクシーで往復160ドルかかります。 オーナーが変わったようで、 朝食は、セルフで台所の冷蔵庫のドアポケットにあるものだけ使えます。卵もなかったので、パン（クロワッサン、ベーグル蒸しパンなど）、シリアル、賞味期限近くのヨーグルト、果物、クリームチーズ、バター、ジャムだけでした。必ず食材を持ち込んでください。食器洗いかたずけも自分たちでします。 予約のキャンセル料は厳しく10分前にした予約にもキャンセル料がかかります。 洗面台の排水溝がかなり臭いです。シャンプーリンスなどは充実しています。玄関から先は土足厳禁です。スリッパを持参してください。 スタッフの方はほとんど出てこないので、メールか電話でのやり取りになります。やり取りの苦手な方には良いかもしれません。

市街地から離れたところにあり、オーロラ観測に適しています。 チェックインや朝食、チェックアウトなどはすべてセルフサービスであり、スタッフと顔を合わせることはありません（用があれば話はできる様子）。 やや壁が薄く、隣室の声がよく聞こえます。設備は整っており、清潔です。

5泊しました。 キッチンは調味料が充実しており、使いやすかったです。 炊飯器がありましたので、お米を持って来ればご飯も食べられます。 オーナーにはタクシーの手配など親切にしてもらいました。 フェアバンクスに行くことがあれば、またnorthernsky lodgeに泊まりたいです。

Very quiet and clean. Rex, our host was helpful but unobtrusive. Make sure you buy some food and take it in with you as only breakfast is provided. Lots of breakfast choices and the dining area was very nice. We would definitely visit again

If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place that is out of the way, this is the place. It is older and bit rusty, but this adds to it's charm. I highly recommend staying there.

This is a unique property. You enter in a vestibule, so bring all your stuff in 1st. You remove your shoes inside the mud room area before the living room. You cant access your room from outside. On the 1st floor, the bedrooms are down a hall past the common area of a small living room and large Kitchen/eating space with lots of windows. The place clean and tidy. A work in progress for Rex and his partner. We got Room #4 We had a double Bed room, my bed was great. big pillows. Didn't know that to watch TV you will need to go to the common area. No Big Deal. There was only one other couple there and they weren't interested in watching TV, nor were we really. My friend i was with, didnt like that the open jars of jelly and peanut butter put out for the continental breakfast are all shared too. hopefully no one licks their knives or spoons before dipping. we washed our dishes, even tho there wasnt any direction to wash or leave, so we washed and left them on the drain board, picked up our garbage. There is a community refrig. to share or keep things to eat. There was milk in there that we used for coffee since we forgot to buy in town. The kitchen is large so if you are planning to make dinner or lunch it has everything. You just need to buy things in town. Due to clouds, we didn't see the northern lights, nor any wildlife, went dog sledding with Bob Cotter (great), to Chena hot springs, drove to Denali park, didn' see Denali either. Saw Santa in North Pole, It was an adventure.

Hotels.com info sucks again
Once again hotels.com has false information. This was a hostel. You share a bathroom with 4 rooms. 1 toilet, 1 shower. Had I known this, I would not have booked. Other than that the place was cute and clean.

We are sorry to hear your stay with us was not amazing. Only two of our rooms share a bathroom (the Eagle & Aurora rooms), all of our other rooms have private bathrooms.We have requested Expedia make this information more obvious on their family of websites. For now, you have to click on "More Details " for the room listing and scroll down to "Room amenities" in order to see the bathroom setup.We apologize this had a negative impact on your visit but are glad you otherwise enjoyed the splendor of our lodge.

This was a small lodge off the highway. Everything was pretty much self serve no host interaction unless you request it. We met a very nice couple in the main dining room/great room and we exchanged tips on our travels. That was our social interactions for the night. Slept comfortably for a night stay.

Amazing property. At first when you enter into the woods, it seems a little strange. But when you get to the property and get into your room, it is extremely clean and cozy. There's a deck that overlooks the mountains and it is extremely peaceful. We sat there in the morning before heading out, and it was the perfect way to start the day with nature.

Located about 30 minutes south of Fairbanks, so convenient, but away from the noise of the city. We loved the big kitchen and dining area, which we made good use of, and the room, with it's impressive log walls, was comfortable and cool, despite the summer heat.

It was clean inside. The outside was let go, & messy... not mowed. It was a shared bathroom, a shared common room w/ tv, not impressed for $160. Slept well, would maybe stay again.

Rustic, interesting decor - perfect for an Alaskan lodge. We stayed in the Denali room which was very comfortable and included all necessary amenities.

Quality stay!
First thing I noticed, mosquitoes (crazy amount in our room). Otherwise, this place is great! Very nice, friendly hosts, nice breakfast, super comfy bed and hot shower. Lived everything about this place but the crazy amounts of mosquitoes and distance from town (which may be a plus for some).

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us! Mosquitoes are the unofficial "state bird" of Alaska and are unavoidable during the summer months.We apply a bee, pet, and child safe spray around the perimeter of the lodge to try and keep them away but some will always get inside. Each of our guest rooms has a mosquito trap and there is bug spray available upon request. We do our best to safely mitigate their nuisance and hope they did not impact your rest too much.
