Checkin was extremely confusing for a pre-cruise stay that was booked through Expedia. At first staff told us that we would have to check out of our room after 1 night on the Expedia reservation, and then check into an identical room the next day as part of our Cruise package. When we arrived late at night there were 2 front desk staff, 1 helping another customer, and another who was doing nothing staring off into space. It was 1:30am and we just needed to get our daughter to sleep.

Love the location of the resort and the convenience of walking to places to eat. The resort is perfectly placed on a river walk which is fun and nice activity for the family. Hotel is clean with nice comfortable beds. Gift shop has everything you need. Great place to stay if visiting Fairbanks.

It also is closer to the airport. It gave us a power nap at that place after we had a long flight and we arrived at 1 am!

Good value for the money. Near the airport and airport shuttles available. According to my boyfriend, it was the best breakfast buffet he had in a long time, even though you have to pay ~$30.

We liked the proximity to the river and the university. The outside of the hotel is really what we loved. We played horseshoes and bocce ball. We really enjoyed walking through the gardens and along the river.

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful overnight on a longer trip by RV. Very quiet and clean, wonderful sleep. Just wish we'd had a small fridge or microwave in the room. Otherwise, excellent stay!

Property was great. Room was great, restaurant inside was great (wish it offered more varieties to choose from, though), the hotel has a coffee shop inside much like Starbucks, has a souvenir shop that sells more than you probably wish for. All-in-all I would recommend this hotel. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the remote area it was in, away from Fairbanks downtown, but was perfect for walking around and reach other restaurants in the area. Also safe.
