Hôtel Golf St Lazare

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely clean room and very comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the food was beautifully cooked. Breakfast the first day was a bit of a disaster. The scrambled eggs were stone cold and the bacon was burnt to a crisp. Big improvement the second day although the toaster was still broken. All in all well worth a 4 star review."

"Nous venons de passer le week-end de la Pentecôte dans ce superbe gîte au milieu de son écrin de verdure avec le bruit tellement reposant de la rivière à ses pieds. Il y a tout ce qu il faut, on se croirait à la maison. Les hôtes sont charmants. Allez y les yeux fermés."

Delightful gite in La Graffeuille with exclusive use of swimming pool & hot tub

"This gite is absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean and with spectacular views this is an excellent way to introduce one's self into French country life. Unbelievably quiet, yet with ample things to do within an hour or so drive. Pool is totally private, and solely for the use of guests. The maturing trees provide welcome shade when the afternoon sun is at its best. The hot tub is a welcome addition for a unique evening experience, or should you be unfortunate to experience a cooler day, a great place to spend an afternoon with a bottle or two ! There are lovely restaurants relatively close by, providing excellent cuisine. Richard and Karen are brilliant hosts, literally nothing is too much trouble when it comes to help, assistance or advice, yet they blend discretely into the background should you wish to enjoy the French experience on your own . This is the second visit to the gite and, God willing, won't be the last."

"A lucky choice on my route, when i booked this hotel. Its run by a very welcoming Dutch man and his wife. I had a very nice evening meal along with some other Dutch guests, so very pleasant. My room had everything i wanted, was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake. It also overlooked where my motorbike was parked, which was a bonus. I did enjoy my stay and would definately stay again. "

"As a group of 9 friends we met here for our annual holiday. Property is in a good location, very quiet and lots of space. Rooms are all doubles and en suite. The shared spaces are large and plentiful. Lots of butterflies and lizards just outside the door which was lovely. The river is very close by and swimming in there was great. We had a problem with lots of flies at the property which was difficult as we had to keep the windows and doors open to keep the airflow through the property, it was heating up quickly in the hot weather. Nothing really to be done about it but just to mention.Some of the bathrooms were quite tired and a couple seemed to have been leaking into the rooms below. They were clean though. The kitchen is beautiful and large, the table is a very good size for everyone to sit around. We did clean half way through the week to see if that would help with the flies, there were some areas which were perhaps missed on a couple of previous cleans but nothing too bad. All in all, if you want time away with friends or family with lots of indoor and outdoor space this is a good affordable option. The owners were very good in all their communications. "
