「Lovely stay at St Mathias Lodge in Torquay. We chose this location as our son lives nearby & it was perfect for visiting him. It’s about a 15-20 min walk down to Torquay harbour & is uphill on way back. The cottage has everything you need. A fully equipped kitchen, which we didn’t use as we are out everyday, but it’s perfectly good for cooking, it even has a dishwasher. Everything is spotless and the rooms are good sizes. 「dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

「Helpful host and great area for a family holiday」

「I made the booking via Hotel.com and 5 hours after I paid I had an email that I had to pay a £50 mandatory fee for facilities passes at the park. I questioned this as nothing was stated via booking and the price stated was the final price I paid. I had emails from a 3rd party called travelnest and also getting emails from someone asking for £50. The whole booking was a mess. Eventually I spoke to the host and he kept saying its written in the description of this extra charge when I never saw it,...

「Accommodation perfect for us as was its situation that allowed us to visit all the towns around Devon that we had planned. Communication good and would definitely stay again as we would like to visit the area possibly for a longer period next time .」

「Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed.」
