"I booked a twin room. The room was pretty spacious and looked clean at first. But when I pulled back the top sheet on one of the beds that night to go to sleep, I found hair on the sheet. I checked the other bed and there was hair on the sheet as well. So clearly neither bed had fresh sheets changed.
I called the front desk and asked them to send someone to replace the sheets. A few minutes later, someone knocked on the door. I opened it and gestured for her to come in, but she just handed me a set of clean sheets. So I paid $200 and still had to change the bed sheets myself."
"We booked a king room, which the bed frame was but the horrible mattress was a queen. Mattress needs yo be updated. Laundry way in the back in a very dark area that is not lighted at all. Staff was awesome."
"Room needs renovation. Our bathroom door was not closing completely. We were hearing people above up walking. We had to pay for breakfast for the third person in our room even if the reservation was made for 3 people. The room was although very clean."
Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park
4/10 Poor
"When I arrived at the Snow Lodge at the posted check-in time it was all under construction and there was a long line to check in with 1 seemingly overworked employee. I was told the room was not ready and after a lengthy wait, was told that my lodging would instead be in a "cabin" located at the other end of the gravel parking lot. But that wasn't ready, either, so we waited.
The plywood "cabin" was spartan, but clean enough. It was certainly not what I expected for over $300/night. It seems like the entire Snow Lodge grounds is one giant construction area.
I would not stay there again."
