Evansville

Although the Staff encountered on the proprty were very courteous; the building shows it age with stains and tears in the wall finishes. The toilet bowl was not clean. Dirty linen was not changed. The internet was suspect in that it did not always connect. The microwave was not usuable. The air conditioner thermostat was inconsistant. Because of the building's age, there were too few accessible electrical outlets in the room. Visits to other sites belonging to this brand were a far better result.

I didn’t like our room because it totally smells like smoke and old. When we turn on the ac, the bad smell started to spread out. Thank goodness I don’t have asthma.

Totally Disgusting and Disappointed

This hotel is the most disgusting i have ever been to. A customer in front of me complained when she went to her roon to find out the room that was supposedly ready, had not even been cleaned. The lobby was dirty. I will not take a chance on staying in a room that possiblycould have not been cleaned, or the bed remade without even changing the linen, the outside was dismal, trash in the parking lot. The employee was very rude, Demanded a cash deposit of 50.00 for my stay instead of charging my card. I explained i do not carry cash while traveling due to possible theft. She still demanded, i asked to have the reservation canceled and i call the company with no apologies, discounts, or a refund. I will never stay at another America's best again, and i encourage others to find another place to stay. This was more like a pay by hour facility rather than a hotel that they claim to be.

My wife and daughter heard mice in the walls during the night. Although we booked the room for 3 people, there was only 1 bath towel. The TV eould not get any channels when we turned it on. The breakfast only had drinks and cereal, not even any toast or sweet rolls. The walls were in bad shape. The only good things were the resposiveness of the staff, and the room was quiet. We were also upcharged for two beds instead of one.

When we reserve the room the picture showed a jetted tub which was the main thing we wanted in the room. When we got there it was for a regular room and there were burn holes in the comforter and the place was really dilapidated. They did ultimately give us a refund but we had to scramble to find another hotel.

Sheets were clean & bathroom was clean. Those are usually my requirements. Old building that needs alot of updating. The strip club was 1/2 block away & housing was all around. Just looked like bad neighborhood. Gas station was across parking lot. Very handy. Staff was very nice & helpful. Basic breakfast. Pre-packaged rolls, 2 kinds of cereal, milk & juice. We won't be staying here again.

Uncleanliness

Very unclean, old blankets, even though they say is a non smoking room but the odor stick into your clothes. They say it’s a free breakfast but it’s just coffee and cereal. Nothing else than a dollar value.

This place is disgusting! The strip club next door doesn’t serve alcohol so people are out getting drunked up in the parking lot it’s practically a riot. The cigarette burns in everything are a nice touch in this non-smoking facility. Front counter staff was very friendly but I knew I was in for a real treat when they insisted that no deposit or cc was required. The whole place smells like green curry chicken, I like it but really weird. Also the mobile surveillance trailers are a nice touch, but not so comforting. For almost $100 this is a snake oil scam of a location, at least you have been warned!

Bad really bad

Room was nasty and dirty, the whole place smelt like weed, the staff was really bad, there were people in the room next to us that was up all night and kept us up, come to find out it was the owners kids, when we asked about It they just laughed and hung up the phone.

Good option for inexpensive. ....

Not the cleanest as far as furnishings....stained chair, duct taped iron electrical cord, grungy paint, mildewed caulk around tub and the tub drained slow.
