"Clean rooms, mattress was better that I expected. "

"This place had everything! The rooms were spacious for 3 ppl in a 2 queen room. Room was clean and staff is great! In my eyes it’s walkable to downtown- it’s like a 15-20 min walk down hill. Once on the side road to downtown there is a sidewalk; however you have to cross the main road in front of the hotel- but it wasn’t too bad to do! But there great taxis in town to take you to and from if you need. "

"Staff/owner was super friendly, the room was clean and quiet. We stayed two nights. Close to town and where went to see the Passion Play. Would definitely stay again, highly recommend. "

"Stayed in Cabin #11 overlooking the mountainside full of fall foliage to the southern horizon. Both afternoons we sat (napped) outside next to the porch soaking up the late October sunshine. Room was spacious, shower hot & large. Mini fridge was nice to keep the bevies cold! Enjoyed the lodge’s quietness & location to the Historic Downtown (5min). Hiked Black Bass Lake (all 3 trails) down the road just around the corner from Lodge. Hung out in the room after dinners & never felt cramped. I would book again with Morton & Mackenzie."
