"It was clean and quiet. The property manager was very friendly and happy to help with absolutely anything. Breakfast was good and you could tell it was homemade not from a box. "

"Property was very unique, little dated but that's not really a bad thing and too be expected as the entire town is very historic. Bed was surprisingly one of the most comfortable I've experienced away from home. Jetted tub was extremely large and takes forever to fill but worth it in the end. Stayed in the cliffside with very little complaints I would 10/10 stay here again. Walking distance to downtown and always having a place to park nearby especially during busy tourist days is major plus. "

"Location, location, location! Great staff, good room on 4th floor with no one above us. Free parking at an off site lot; there is a shuttle. We love the historic status of the Basin. Free coffee in the lobby in the a.m. Could live without the added resort fee."
"Room was immaculate and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very helpful with the loud people upstairs at 1:00 in the morning. Would definitely stay on my next trip

"This place did not disappoint. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. And oh… that shower! Beautifully restored and decorated. Excellent attention to detail with a very cool whimsical vibe. "

"Our family of 6 found something really special here. We’ve been to Eureka before, but this was our first time staying at this spot—and it felt like we stepped into a little pocket of magic. This space wrapped us in warmth and comfort the moment we arrived. That big, beautiful couch cradled our tired bodies and full hearts after long days spent exploring, laughing, and tasting the best of town. The location? Absolutely dreamy. You walk out the door and you're in it—surrounded by shops, cafes, and that unmistakable Eureka soul. But what we’ll remember most: the tall windows that opened to the heartbeat of the street below. We sat and watched the world go by, and when we opened those windows—oh, the music. The sound of guitars drifting up from the street became our nightly lullaby. This wasn’t just a stay. It was a pause. A reconnection. A reminder of how good it feels to slow down and be together.Thank you for giving us that. We’ll absolutely be back."
