Good hotel

We have booked this hotel as a one-night stop when traveling through Europe. The hotel staff were excellent, we were able to communicate in English and were quickly shown to our room. We then discovered that our family room was in fact two separate rooms with the door between them. Each room had two single beds and we had a large bathroom with a very good and powerful shower. The room and the bed sheets were very clean despite the fact that the room looked tired with Vario s fixtures broken or badly repaired. This clearly poor attempt to update the room did not spoil our stay and despite this fact, we were happy to enjoy comfortable beds, two TV sets and sizable fridge... Continental breakfast was just great. Yes we had to go to a restaurant in another building but the choice was excellent and everything was fresh and tasty... There was also plenty of parking spaces directly with the hotel...

The place is easy to reach and you can park your car in the internal courtyard. To check-in you need to go to the hotel and restaurant across the road. The building and common areas look clean and well-kept. The room, facing the courtyard, was a bit run-down with scratches on the walls, peeled wallpaper and limescale in the shower. The bathroom is very basic and it doesn’t have any surface to leave your toiletries. The bed was comfortable, both mattress and pillow. When we dropped our bags in the room, I was relieved that it was facing the back, as Halterner str. could be quite loud, however, both nights there was a group of people using the internal courtyard as their personal gathering space, talking loudly and smoking until the early hours. If you’re looking for a good night’s sleep, this might not be your choice.

Good clean rooms if you are just looking for a place to stay the night. For instance when visiting moviepark germany. Located above/next to donner kebab place. Which serves good cheap food by the way. I think it has the same owner as the hotel. Rooms look renovated few years ago, so new but not very modern or stylish, just fine. Coffeemaker in the room, as well as tv and fridge. Surrounding area: it is located in a street with some shops, a pool cafe, etc. Nothing lively, but not empty either. Owner very friendly, check in went fine. Breakfast a bit dissapointing. Some bread, slices of cheese tomato etc. But just a boiled egg, no scrammbled. No other types of breads or croissant for instance. Not more fruit than plain apple. No fresh yoghurts or musli. just the choice of 1 type of small yoghurt container with no cerials. No warm sausage or bacon (maybe because of turkish establishment?) Just the bare minimum to be honest.. Then again, you only pay 7€. Bed matrasses were good, blankets as well. So overal, had a fine stay, especially for the price we paid we were happy.

Checking in was confusing. You had to call a number, cross the street and wait to be attended in a closed restaurant. The “hotel” has two names, so Bei Yazmin online and has a different name outside the bulding. The room (202) had mold in the shower, broken equipment, broken curtain rods, and a broken door, stained sheets, scuffed walls, removed smoke detectors (it stunk of cigarrettes), and no room ventilation beyond leaving a broken window open. We skipped the breakfast (even though we paid extra for it) and left after we woke up. I did not want stomach issues on top of a really bad sleeping experience.

Reinigungspersonal steht um halb 10 auf einmal im Zimmer obwohl der Check Out erst um 11 war. Geklopft, ohne warten direkt reingekommen, gesehen das ich nicht angezogen bin, trotzdem mitten in der Türe stehen geblieben und wollte die Check Out Zeit wissen. Mehrfach nachgefragt, da ich keine konkrete Antwort geben konnte. Dann erst ist sie wieder rausgegangen. Sehr unprofessionell. Reinigungspersonal hat dann bis zum Check Out vor dem Zimmer gewartet. Einge Ameisen im Zimmer. Betten relativ hart. Sonst war das Zimmer aber sehr schön und alles hat gut geklappt

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (7 Jahre und 10 Monate) in einem Freizeitpark und wollten wegen dem Baby die 2 stündige Rückfahrt nicht am gleichen Tag machen. Das "Hotel" lag die uns gut und war gut bewertet, weshalb wir uns dafür entschieden haben. Ebenso unsere Freunde mit ihren 4 Kindern (10,8,5, 6 Monate). Leider ein Trugschluss. Bei Ankunft teilte man uns mit, dass unser Vierbettzimmer nicht verfügbar sei. Das Sechsbettzimmer für unsere Freunde wäre aber bereit. Nach langem hin und her wollte man ins ein Doppelzimmer andrehen, in das man ein drittes Bett stellen würde. Die Männer der Runde gingen mit dem Herren nach oben und kamen völlig entsetzt zurück mit den Worten: " Hier bleiben wir keine Nacht. Dafür geben wir keine 150€ bzw. 200€ aus.Wir fahren!" Die Zimmer waren ungepflegt, rochen muffig und eklig. Die Türen waren aufgequollen und aus dem Bad kam ekliger Geruch. Wir haben dann mit zwei geschafften Babies und 4 müden Kindern die Heimreise angetreten. In dieses vermeintliche HOTEL werden wir keinen Fuß mehr setzen. Uns ist es ein Rätsel, woher die guten Bewertungen im Netz stammen.

Der Service war super. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Über die Unterkunft will ich nicht meckern, es war sauber gar keine Frage, im Badezimmer waren die Silikonfugen etwas schwarz im duschbereich und ein paar riemchen auf dem Boden der Dusche haben gefehlt. Bei den Betten im vorderen Bereich hat ein Ablagefach gefehlt, es sah aus wie mutwillig rausgerissen, und bei einem der Lampen am Bett haben Kabel gehangen die nur mit Tesafilm abgeklebt waren, etwas Gefährlich für Kinder. Für eine Nacht zum schlafen aber noch in Ordnung. Bei Ausbesserung der Mängel würden wir definitiv wieder kommen. Das Frühstück bei euch war super, meine Kinder sind satt geworden, schafft nicht jeder. Es war eine kleine aber feine Auswahl, da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

Nedslidt, svært at kommunikere med personalet. Ventilator på værelset virkede ikke. Fik af vide at der var morgenmad klokken 9.00, men da vi kom derned var alt pakkede væk, personalet stille så noget frem men det var virkeligt ikke lækkert.
