The house is very nicely furnished, immaculately clean and very well equipped, and is warm and cosy; you can hear the river rushing in the valley below and the rooms have lovely views of trees and fields. "A pleasant enough stay. The staff are helpful, but the hotel is surprisingly impersonal. Didn’t feel particularly welcome. Minor problems with the room - toilet difficult to flush and no socket near the kettle. Major problems with was access. The front of the hotel is inaccessible by car. The way in is via a public car park, but this is not obvious from the address. There were no directions offered when booking, and no indication at the car park entrance. A frustrating half hour trying to find the place."
