Excellent stop for walking or cycling or underway (as we were) to points South. Good rooms and a Michelin-starred restaurant, nice grounds. Friendly staff apart from a grumpy frump who checked us in and scolded us for not having paid for breakfast…

Old design, and inconvenient hotel

Lovely, quiet location right by the river. Local shops are a 5 mins walk away. Nice breakfast set-up where you can sit inside, or outside on a lovely balcony with a few tables.

The bathroom had old amenities and ripped towels. The rest was great!

I had a very warm welcome by the staff, who were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was lovely. Even though the decor is somewhat dated it is very clean. The only real downside was the room could have done with a kettle.
