「We stayed at this beautiful space overnight on our way home and felt warmly welcomed. The place is relatively new and well equipped and tucked away in the town. Our host was wonderful and breakfast was delicious and filling. The supermarket is very close and easy to walk to restaurants and pastry shops nearby. Close to several wineries and we visited the Stilianou winery which was lovely(lots of narrow roads to get there though, as per usual rural Crete).

「Very responsive host and the remarkably clean and organized hotel room with secured/easy access was conveniently located in the city center near the Herakleion port.
Restaurants and shopping district within walking distance. The host guided me through greatly with finding a parking spot which I appreciate very much. Coffee, tea, a small bottle of ouzo & other assortments were kindly accommodated, such sensible gestures added a wonderful memory to my experience in the famous greek hospitality....

「We were only here one night, but this hotel was great! From our room, we had a view of the street below and the sea in the distance. Our hotel wasn't necessarily *close* to all the food/shopping or the fort, but it was within a reasonable walk that felt safe to us.
